TCAN330: TCAN330 Protection circuit

Part Number: TCAN330

Hi team,

The customer plan to use 3.3V can transceiver.

If the customer connect the 5V CAN transceiver board by mistake, the ACK signal may 4.5V.

The device would be work correctly. But one of the concern is that reverse current to Vcc from CANH on 3.3V CAN Transceiver.

It may cause the damage on the uC which is connected same power rail of 3.3V CAN.

I’d like to know is there any protection circuit for this situation.

Regards,

Yoshi
