Hi Sir

I have questions about VOD and VOD_EB ,what's the different between of them?

VOD_EB is same as de-emphasis or not ?

    Hi Rain,

    I think you could be referring to VOD_DB instead. I checked and i cannot find VOD_EB in DS80PCI810 data sheet.
    Please note DS80PCI810 does not support de-emphasis on it's outputs. If this function is required, please consider DS80PCI800 device.
    VOD_DB refers to the VOD level on channel B outputs(OUTB signals)

    but I' m not mean VODA,VODB ,I mean VOD_DB and VOD ,these two feature is independent and individually controllable

    My question  is what is the difference between VOD_DB and VOD.

    Another question is the SI model is common file (attched) ,for the output parameter ,just could control de-emphasis ,and VOD

    but DS80PCI810 is not support for de-emphasis ,but it should have VOD_DB setting ,but only VOD can be adjusted.

    VOD and VOD_DB act in a very similar way for the DS80PCI810.  For this reason the VOD_DB is recommended to be set to 000'b.  Setting the VOD_DB to other settings will reduce the overall amplitude.  The VOD control provides enough control to the output amplitude for all PCIe applications.
