Hi Experts,
TCAN330 supports SOT23(3x3mm). Does TI have a plan to support more smaller package of CAN transceiver?

Uchikoshi-san,
For the TCAN330, and future CAN devices, a smaller package relative to SOT23 is not planned at the moment. Have you seen requests for a smaller package?

Uchikosi-san,
We only have the TCAN33x family which is in the SOT-23 (2.9mm x 1.6mm) package, as you previously mentioned. Our other 3.3V CAN transceivers only come in the SOIC package.
Do TXD and RXD need to be 3.3V along with the CAN bus? Which part of the CAN transceiver needs to operate off of 3.3V?
Regards,
Hi Eric,
Thank you for your reply.
Our system does not support 5V power rail thus MCU interface is 3.3V. So we are working to use TCAN33x SOT-23.
