Hi team,
we want to check if we want to use the ds110df410 CDR in bypass mode, whether we need to do reset the device to make the link ok? Thanks.

Hi Frank,
There should not be a need to Reset the device to allow bypass mode to operate.

hi Lee,
The customer use the device and find some sockets cannot be locked. The CDR register is 0x02. The value is 0xdc,0xdc,0xdc,0x9c( 4 channels)
when the link is ok, the registers are 0x04,0x04,0x00,0x04 or 0xdc,0xdc,0xdc,0xdc. The CDR is bypass now. We don't know why it show the CDR is locked.
When not locked even set the CDR bypass, we reset the CDR, link is up again. Do you have some suggestions how to check the problem? Thanks.
Hi Frank,
Are you also writing to the override registers as shown in the datasheet in section 8.5.10?
Thanks and Regards,
Lee
