Hello expert,

Customer want to choose USB3 MUX for their USB TYPE A port application. I found out we have TS3USB3000 and TS5USBC400/2 could support their application. And I also found the difference between these devices on bandwidth/OVP threshold/Rdson/package...etc. We would like to know the market definition between these devices. For example, TS3USB3000 have higher bandwidth and what is the market does this device focus? And also which part is popular in these choices? Thanks a lot!

these two devices support USB2, HD3USB3212 supports USB3 application.

Hello Brian,

Could you kindly help to check if these Mux solutions are under UL spec? My customer need UL spec for D+/D- pin. If no, do we have solution is under UL spec and could support D+/D- Mux? And also, could USB2 D+/D- Mux support USB3 TYPE A port? Thanks a lot!

ok, it seems a safety standard. I don't think any Mux device could cause pain or injury.
