My customer is interested in the ESD351 for USB2.0 interface in factory auto. application since the size is much small.
In the d/s, it says it can sustain the surge IEC 61000-4-5 (8/20us) with 6A. But when we check competition part as GBLCxx and SRV05-4M from Protek. the Surge current can be much higher than ESD351. and the peak pulse power is 350W-400W range. In the ESD351, it only shows the 43W with 8/20uS.
We are actually not expertise in the ESD components. We need your advice what're the differences in between. And how to choice the right one in the application? What's the benefit with higher surge rating as competition's Very thanks.
