Lee,
We redesigned the board with more length on the connections from the DC blocking caps to the chip and added switches for the settings.
We tried it again without any luck.
We mounted the new re-driver board in a M.2 carrier board with a SATA input.
We then connected the SATA port from the NUC to the carrier board and our drive with the long cable to the SATA output on my re-driver board.
It now connects just fine. This leads us to believe that there is an issue with the proximity of the re-driver chip to whatever SATA driver there is on the NUC.
Any ideas?
