ONET4201LD: digital setting of laser driver

Part Number: ONET4201LD

I'm currently using ONET4201LD and for future evaluation in different conditions and maybe different lasers I'll need to have different resistor values.

I'm wondering if there is a way of controlling that digitally... will digital potentiometers work for Rapcset, Rmodset, etc?

Alternatively, is there another > 2Gbps laser driver allowing such customizable set-up?

    Hi Juan,

    Most of the applications use discrete resistors. Digital potentiometer have some limitations such as current rating/voltage rating and discrete steps). For characterization of these devices, we have used discrete resistors so it is recommended to use discrete resistor values.
