TCAN332G: why the last bit isn't the same as other bits

Part Number: TCAN332G

Hi team,

My customer is using the TCAN332G now, the data rate is 500kbps. We don't know why the last bit isn't the same as other bits. Could you please help check? Thanks.

right level

  • Frank,

This is the ACK bit in the CAN frame. This is a dominant bit sent by every single node on the bus at the same time to acknowledge that the CAN frame was received correctly. Because all nodes are dominant at the same time, there is a slight rise in the voltage level of the waveform.

Please let me know if this doesn't make sense or if you have any other questions or concerns.

    Regards,
