Hello E2E,

Our customer is using the TPD2E001 on USB_Bus for MCU, it's will be damaged by lightning induction.
Clamping voltage of general varistor is high more than VBUS of USB, therefor they can't use on USB_D+/-.
Does TI have the best solution?

    Hello,

    Our highest protection device is ESDS312 which has 25A surge current and extremely low clamping voltage. However it is 3.3V which is fin for USB D+/- just not for VBUS. Otherwise I would say TPD4E1U06 is our highest protection device for 5V but it is 4 channel.
