TPD2E001 can withstand ±8-kV contact discharge, but why this part got damaged when my customer only applying 6KV contact discharge on part. Is it related to customer's layout?

Hi Vincent,
Judging by the schematic and the layout the device should be operating like intended.
How do you know that the device got damaged? Is noticed by looking at the device that it got damaged, or did the system application not work anymore?
