Dear TI members,

We are current developing a device with FPDLink III interface by implementing your DS90UB954 component in our design. Currently we are validating the EMC behavior of our product. 

We have some products with the 953 but they are still in development stage so the integration is still not perfect. That is why I would like to ask you whether you recommend to use your evaluation module of the 953 to perform EMC (immunity and radiations test) validation of the 954.

    Hi Vincent,

    Can you confirm exactly what EMC standardized tests you plan on doing? CISPR25? and ISO11452-4? which would be Radiated Emissions and Bulk Current Injection Immunity.

    Hello Mandeep,

    We e are actually testing acc. to our customer propietary standard, but it is based on CISPR25, ISO11452-4, ISO11452-8.

    Hi Vincent,

    We have done EMC tests based on the automotive standard with successful results. You can use our EVMs; however, as a disclaimer I do have to mention that we don't guarantee successful results in the testing you are doing because there's many factors that can influence the outcome of the results. In addition, we are IEC 61000-4-2 and ISO 10605 compliant at the part level per datasheet ESD Ratings section.
