Hello Team,
For the DP83848-Q1, the typical value of 81mA for the Idd100 is mentioned in the datasheet. could you kindly share the value for this parameter at 105C.
Thanks

Hi Nikhil,
Is there a reason for your need to understand the current at 105C?
Also, could you please share your reasoning for selecting DP83848? I am asking this because we have newer generation 100Mbps devices like DP83822 and DP83826. I wanted to check if there are some features in our newer devices that would be of interest for you which may also highlight some of the specs you are looking for.
Thanks,
Cecilia
Hi Cecilia,
I need this value for power dissipation estimation. Also, does this incorporate both the VDDA and VDDIO current (total current for the device)?
Regarding the other devices, would they be suitable for an automotive application?
Thanks
Nikhil
Hi Nikhil,
Typically these devices are used in Industrial spaces, not automotive.
It looks like Idd may be the total current for both supplies.
Unfortunately we do not have the max values and only typical values for these specs.
Thanks,
Cecilia
Hi Cecilia,
in the literature http://www.ti.com/lit/an/snla089b/snla089b.pdf?&ts=1589473402304, chapter 4.4 shows the current consumption under various conditions. Can this be considered as the complete current consumption and taken as worst case for the calculations?
Thanks
Nikhil
Hi Nikhil,
I believe as stated in the datasheet there are worst case conditions in Table 4 for 100Base-T
Thanks,
Cecilia
