Hi team,

I would like to calculate the serializer output data rate from the input video signal.

Here is my video signal.

- YCbCr 4:2:2 - 10bit

- 30fps

- 1280 x 800

- pixel clock 84MHz

Could you advise how to calculate serializer output data rate?

Hello Shinji,

For 913A YUV422 10 bit the operating mode would be RAW10 mode with 20 bits per pixel sent over two PCLK cycles.

The serializer output data rate in RAW10 mode is (PCLK/2)*28 = (84MHz/2)*28 = 1.176Gbps
