Hi Team,

I would like to use TUSB320HAI as DFP.

I understand that TUSB320HAI supports USB Type-C™ Specification 1.1.

Can TUSB320HAI connect UFP device of USB Type-C™ Specification 1.3(Latest Rev)?

And, could you please let us know the difference of 1.1 and 1.3 spec if you have any information?

Hi Hide,

Latest Type-C spec if actually rev. 2.0 and TUSB320HAI would not have a issue simply connecting to a Type-C device that supports the latest version. I do not have a list of all approved ECNs that were rolled into newer spec versions.

Do you have development plan of device(like a TUSB320HAI) for Specification2.0?

[Q2]

If we use TUSB320HAI, can this device pass the certification of Specification 2.0 without USB4?

Hi Hide,

1. Currently there is no development plan for this device.

2. TUSB320HAI has not been tested with specification 2.0 compliance tests, so I do not have this information available.
