Hi,
The key requirement that comes to mind as it relates to handling is ESD. Refer to the TLK10034 product datasheet for ESD specifications.

Sorry, I meant any handling out of the ordinary. So not ESD, but perhaps baking before SMT or similar.
Hi,
There are no hadlling issues or risks that have been identified on this TLK device beyond what is on the datasheet. Are you certain the issue you are observing is related to device handling? Could there be issues with your system board application, such as signal integriy or power supply noise?
Cordially,
Rodrigo Natal
Hi Rodrigo,
Minimizing power supply noise had no effect. We did see improvements with the oscillator (see posting from Andrew Dyer). We also saw improvements with a wad of copper tape used in place of a thermal pad to the TLK's heat sink. What's helped the most though is a small amount of reverse traffic - see
Thanks,
Todd
Hi,
I can't make much sense out of these qualitative observations, and thus cannot advise further. I would need more details related to TLK setup and data test configuration to be able to advise further.
Cordially,
Rodrigo
