Dears,
My Customer just test 914A EVM and found the eye diagram is very poor.
And the LOCK LED status is abnormal(blinking).
Below is the hardware connection and the test report as attached.
Please give me suggestion.
Thanks.

Hi Peter,
Could you give me a little more info? What are you pairing the 914A EVM with and what are the different strap modes you are using?
Thanks,
Sally
Hi Sally,
Customer use DS90UB913/DS90UB933 as serializer.
What did the strap mode means? I did not find detail information in datasheet.
Hi Peter,
I was referring to the Mode select switches that can be controlled on the EVM. If you try a lower rate does that help? Also, please do not rely on the LED to discern for lock, you should monitor lock on pin 4 of JP2 on the DES through an oscilloscope. First, let's establish lock for DS90UB913. Can you go through that user's guide to pair the two EVM's? Perhaps the cable is causing the issue, so you can also look at the second link for the cable requirements for the 913/914 chipset.

Dear Sally,
I will check with customer for those questions.
BTW, I saw both links are same! Could you help to let me know what the first link it is?
Thanks.
