Other Parts Discussed in Thread: SN75LBC179,
I saw in a previous thread that the SN75LBC179AP was recommended as a pin-for-pin replacement for the DS8921 dip package. However, it looks to me that pins 5 and 6 (inverting and non-inverting outputs) are reversed between the two. I believe that would cause issues. A quick scan of other options (including some other vendors) all had the type SN75LBC179 pinout. Are there any other options with identical pinouts to the DS8921?
