Hi Experts,

We are using TUSB8043A part in our one Custom design. I am some queries related to this :

Our Platform details :

ARCH arm64

kernel 4.9.140

OS Linux

TUSB8043A, driver are present in linux kernel 4.9, or we have to port it externally. ?

From where we can get driver/software support ?

And how to achieve different functionality on USB 3.1 type C(data, power delivery, DP) using this module ?

Hi Alok,

TUSB8043A can be used with the default USB drivers provided with the Linux kernel. WE do not provide support for Linux drivers, they are handled by the Linux community. TUSB8043A only handles the USB communication. All Type-C futures would be handled by the PD controller and configurations mux on your board.

Thanks for reply.

It means default USB drivers of linux will work.

And no need to port or integrate any specific driver related to this part.
