TUSB8043: TUSB8043

Part Number: TUSB8043

We are a TI customer using TUSB8041I. We are planning a new project and see TI has new versions: TUSB8043/44 series.

I see the TI USB hub has a function to disable the USB3.1 downstream port when the upstream port is connected to a USB2.0 only host port. We are looking for the reverse function instead, If the upstream host port does NOT have USB2.0 D+/D- signals  for some reasons. Can your hub bridge downstream USB2.0 devices to USB3.1-only host (at USB2.0 speed)? Most likely works as a High-speed to Super Speed transaction translator. Can TUSB8043/44 support this feature? Or you have some other options?
