As the topic, our customer would like to co-lay with SN75DP149 & TDP158...looks the package size and pinout be same, just need your support to re-confirm it workable? And any suggestion on the layout work?

I don't have a reference design, but if you look at the DP158 and DP149, the difference are the control signals and one power pin as highlighted below. You can accommodate the difference with 0-ohm resistor.
