TPD4S214: Does using the TPD4S214 eliminate the need for a ferrite bead on Vbus?

Part Number: TPD4S214

Many USB reference designs include a ferrite bead on Vbus, located very near the USB connector, to suppress noise.  The reference designs for the TPD4S214 do not include a ferrite bead.

Does the TPD4S214 device filter noise on Vbus, eliminating the need for a ferrite?  Or, is TI simply leaving the choice of whether to include a ferrite to the designer?
