Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TLK10232
For the "General Purpose Input", the TLK10031 datasheet lists a single pin name, "GPI0", but lists 3 pin numbers (L8, J4, J10). The Pinout Matrix, on the other hand, lists three unique pin names: GPI0, GPI1, and GPI2. Questions:
- Are the three pins tied internally to the same die signal? Or are the three pins assigned to their own signals on the die?
- The datasheet says that this signal(s) should be grounded through a resistor. Should each pin be grounded through its own resistor?
- The datasheet for the TLK10232 dual KR PHY which, as I understand it, uses the same die as the TLK10031, says that hooks should be put in to tie the GPI pin(s) to VDDO. Does this apply to the TLK10031 as well?
