For the TLK10031 PHY can the following be confirmed?

For 1GBASE-KX (aka 1000BASE-KX) mode of operation:
1. Only Low Speed Interface signals INA0P/N and OUTA0P/N are required.
2. Low Speed Interface signals INA1P/N, INA2P/N, INA3P/N, OUTA1P/N, OUTA2P/N, and OUTA3P/N are not required and can be left disconnected.

Hi Mick,

Your understanding is correct(same as figure 7-8 of the data sheet). It would be a good idea to terminate un-used inputs - as noted in the data sheet.

Regarding terminating unused CML I/O, the TLK10031 datasheet states:

"Unused CML differential output pins can be left unconnected. Unused CML differential input pins should be tied to ground through a shared 100-Ω resistor."

For CML inputs, does the sketch below show the proper termination for unused CML inputs?
