TS3USB221A: Confirm if the voltage condition is possible

Hi team,

Our customer would like to confirm if their condition is possible for TS3USB221A since it is more than the Recommended operating condition but below the range of Max absolute range in the datasheet:

VCC ---3.3 V
CONTROL INPUT VOLTAGE-----4.5-5V (General 74HC TYPE TTL HIGH output)

Because in the datasheet, 

The maximum voltage used
VCC --- 4.6V
CONTROL INPUT VOLTAGE(VS, Voe)---7V

Please let me know if the customer's condition is possible.

    Hi Jonathan,

    Using voltages above the recommend operating conditions but below the absolute maximum range will not damage the device, but the functional operation of the device is not guaranteed.  We do not recommend using this part at those voltages.
