TPD2S300: Can TPD2S300 be used for DP/DM (USB2 data)?

Hi Team,

The customer seeks solution for DP/DM (USB2 data), like NX20P0408(NXP).

1. Are there any problem if we use TPD2S300 prevent USB2 D+/D- short to Vbus?

2. If cannot use TPD2S300, do we have any other solution for D+/D- short to Vbus?

    Hi Hardy,

    The TPD2S300 incorporates dead battery resistors for the CC lines and could interfere with D+/D- signaling. I do not recommend using it for D+/D-.

    I would take a look at some of these parts that are specific to USB 2.0 protection. If you submit another E2E under one these products, you can talk with the experts who support them to get a more targeted recommendation.
