Hi

I am designing a system with a USB2.0 Host .

I wish to prototype with an option for a redriver, and since I should connect shorter than 0.5m cables (non standard) only, I thought of using the TUSB211/212.

Can either of these devices be used in Host side?

I observed that the block scheme notes the device side only, but the TUSB212 is described as Host/Device agnostic.

neither of devices has a Pre/Post channel measurements on DS.

I see that TUSB216/217 do have Pre/Post channel measurements, but they are over- spec for my design.
