Hi everyone,
We are using:
In the past we have had problems with video flickering as the operating temperature increases, but we were not aware of the errata "FPD-Link_DS90Ux949-A-Q1_Errata 1v5" to be applied to the serializer.
Applying the latter, in particular for the points:
The problem was solved.
Now, we have problems with video flickering at room temperature.
During the phenomenon, the LOCK pin does not report any problems (it is HIGH), HDMI clock and Open LDI clock do not evidenced anomalous behaviours and they are stable.
As proof we have eliminated the application of points 1 and 3 of the errata and we have seen that the problem disappears.
We would like to have your support.
Thank you in advantage for your availability and support.
Angelo.
Hi Angelo,
Can you read the top markings of the 949 and send it to me? Have you verified that the startup procedure meets the requirements in the errata and datasheet for the 948 and the 949?
Regards,
Michael W.
Hi Michael,
first, thank you for your support.
The startup procedure meets the requirements in datasheet and errata for 949, while for 948 we have verified only the datasheet startup procedure becuase we did not find 948 errata.

Hi Michael and Casey,
have you found new information about Marking code of the 949 (UB949Q TI 04I AL1L G4)?

Hello Angelo,
What sort of information are you looking for specifically? We are not aware of any lot which went out to customers containing silicon with any issues
Best Regards,
Casey
