In my previous design i have used the Part No:AM26LS31AIN.(DIP PACKAGE). Now i am not getting this part no.is this Obsolete?

Now i want to use Part no: AM26LS31INSR (SO PACKAGE)

is it equivalent or not? can i use in my design?

    The part number indeed is no longer available. You have to change the temperature range (AM26LS31‍CN) or package (AM26LS31‍INSR). The different package should make no electrical difference.

    Consider using the AM26C31‍IN, which saves power.
