To whom it may concern,

Due to supply chain issues I am trying to find an alternate to the TCAN1042HGVDRBRQ1 part. I see that the TCAN1051 is available to purchase with same footprint. Can you let me know what are the differences between the chips that I need to be aware of, and is it a drop-in replacement?

STB is always tied low in the design.

    Since the STB pin is always tied low in your application, using the TCAN1051 will leave the S pin (silent mode) always pulled low so the device will always be in normal mode. So with your application, the TCAN1051 and TCAN1042 would have identical functionality.
