my customer needs feedback regarding the termination resistor depending on the SWAP pin.

Do they need a termination when SWAP pin is pulled LOW or only when SWAP pin is left floating?

Hello,

Thank you for reaching out to us. Are you asking the input or output? The only time you need the 100Ω termination between P and N for input signals when SWAP pin is floating.

I forgot to mention one more thing. When SWAP = HIGH or LOW, it will use internal termination.
