SN65DSI86: MIPI DSI

Part Number: SN65DSI86

Hi

My customer has two questions

1. When MIPI DSI1 is not in use, should I float or pull up?

2. EVM line GPIO3 is the function of EDP_BL_ENABLE But REFCLK is set to 27MHz, and GPIO[3:1] requires an external resistor to set 011 But EDP_BL_ENABLE of EVM is pulled LOW directly,

and EVM is also set to 27MHz output Please also help confirm whether the GPIO needs to be pulled LOW

  • Hi,

    1. Please leave unused DSI input terminals (DA*N/P, DB*N/P) unconnected or driven to LP11 state.

    2. If GPIO3 is used for EDP_BL_ENABLE, then software must program the REFCLK_FREQ, CHA_DSI_CLK_RANGE and CHB_DSI_CLK_RANGE through the I2C interface prior to issuing any DSI commands or packets to the SN65DSI86.

    Thanks
