TLK10081: How much loss can be compensated by equalization?

Dear team,

I have several questions about TLK10081.  please check the following diagram.

1. Does this device support 10G KR(10.3125Gbps)?

2. Since the cable is long(2.5m), how many dB can TX and RX Eq of low-speed side compensate?

3.is it ok if we connect an optical module at the output of the high-speed side?

4. should the refclk of these two TLK chip supply from a same clock source?
