How to interface IEEE1394??

We are trying to interface IEEE1394 with processor/controller..

But i m not sure to which module/interface in MPU or MCU it will communicate??

I found Some devices like TSB41BA3D,TSB82AA2, TSB12LV21, TSB12LV26, TSB12LV32, TSB42AA4..all these describes interfacing IEEE1394 with PCI..

Is there any other devices that allow IEEE1394 to communicate with some other interface other than PCI???

Sorry i didn't mention it clearly,we are looking to interface IEEE1394 with modules except PCI/PCIe..

I found this device TSB12LV32-EP saying that it interface IEEE1394 with General purpose LLC .and is mentioned about connecting to Microcontroller.,..Can we connect it to AM37XX through GPMC in synchronous mode..

Yes, the TSB12LV32-EP can interface with a variety of microcontrollers, there is also the TSB12LV01B.
