TLK10031: question about power dissipation

Part Number: TLK10031
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TLK10232

Hi,

I am beginner for Transceiver, and have several questions for TI's TLK10031 as below

- I found the power consumption as 0.8W at the first page of TLK10031 Datasheet. Is it right?

- I found the Nominal power consumption as 1.6W at the page 8 of TLK10031 Datasheet. Is it right?

- What is the difference between the two figures?

- And what is the condition of each Nominal value?

Thanks,

TS

  • Hi TS,

The TLK10031 is the single channel version of the TLK10232 (Dual Channel), this is the reason some values are the same. The nominal power consumption is 800mW per channel, hence, for the TLK10031 this is the overall power consuption (nominal). We need to fix this data in the datasheet of the TLK10031.

    I hope this helps.
