TPS2052B: Input overvoltage question

Team,

I have a customer that is using a TPS2052B as an input current limit switch for a 5V bus. A schematic is shown below:

The DC/DC converter that supplies the current to the TPS2052B is a 12V->5V Buck. However, it has a start up voltage overshoot as shown below:

The questions are:

1. Would the TPS2052B be damaged by this transient?

2. Would downstream devices after the TPS2052B also see the 11V spike?
