DS90C187: Asking for the DS90C187LFX pin 18B setting

Hi Team,
customer uses TI  DS90C187LFX (Digital RGB to LVDS).
Customer set pin 18B to high (18bits). it has abnormal display. it should be 16 gray scale.


Any suggestion for the abnormal case?

    we need provide more details to understand your issue. C187 already has been used in many customers in ww.

    1. how many boards have this issue?

    2. how do you use C187?

    3.pls check d/s page12-page17, the mapping between processor, C187, and TCON of panel is aligned  correctly?

    Different color mapping options exist. Check with the color mapping of the Deserializer / TCON device that is
    used to ensure compatible mapping for the application. The DS90C187 supports three modes of operation for
    single and dual pixel applications supporting either 24bpp or 18bpp color depths.

    We found some color format issue from front-end RK chip , maybe it caused the abnormal phenomenon.We will solve it firstly,TKS.
