TDP158: HDMI to HDMI repeater

Sorry ,I remember HDMI repeater doesn't need AC coupling cap ,please refer to TMDS181 datasheet 

But in TDP158 page 39 schematic ,it have AC coupling cap 

May I know can TDP158 or DP139 design for HDMI repeater without ac coupling?

Can you specify what you are trying to do? The first post asks for a HDMI to HDMI repeater (which TDP158 is a redriver) with AC coupling. Now you are asking for a design without AC coupling? I would like to get a better idea of what you are doing so I may provide a better recommendation for you.

I would like to do HDMI to HDMI repeater ,I think TMDS171 can support this application ,but Retimer solution is too expensive ,so I would like to use repeater solution
So you mean if TDP158 have ac coupling cap ,it still can work on HDMI to HDMI repeater application

I refer some of device like DS34RT5110 ,this solution doesn't have ac coupling cap
