TUSB1044: Not type-c connector and no PD Controller

Hi,

I would like to know if I can use the TUSB1044 for USB3.1 only (not Type-C and no PD Controller).

If yes, what would be the configuration on control pins?

Can it be used for two lanes or do I need a second device for the second lane?

Application is USB3.1 SS to two type-A connectors with long PCB trace.

Please take a look at HD3SS6126: http://www.ti.com/lit/ds/symlink/hd3ss6126.pdf, and then you may need TUSB522P if it is USB3.1 Gen 1 (5G) or TUSB1002A if it is USB3.1 Gen 2 (10G) to compensate for the loss of the long PCB trace.
