Hi Guys

We want to replace MAX13487E. do we have proper device P2P to replace it?

there are two pins we need to concern MAX13487E:

/RE pin to control auto direction. so just connect to VDD;

/SHDN to VDD;

we need these two pins to VDD and operate normally; Just P2P replace. Do we have proper solution?

    Hi Pengfei,

    We don't have a transceiver with the /SHDN pin, although a half-duplex transceiver like THVD1500 could be placed into a low-power shutdown mode by pulling DE low and /RE high.

    The part number you mentioned looks like it features automatic direction control as well.  Is this function needed in the application?
