Hi team,
Customer using TCAN1044VDRQ1, do it need power supply on VIO pin? Or just leave it floating?
How could we know which version need VIO supply, which version do not?

Fery,
The CAN transceivers with a V after the part number, like 'TCAN1042V-Q1' or 'TCAN1044V-Q1' will have the VIO pin on pin 5. If there is no V after the part number, this means with our new TCAN devices pin 5 is NC.
If the transceiver has a VIO pin, this pin must be supplied with a voltage source, otherwise it will stay in under voltage lockout mode and not be able to function correctly.
Please let me know if you have any other questions.
Regards,
Hi Eric,
Is TCAN1044DRQ1 RTM already? customer doesn't wants external supply on VIO pin.
