We are planned to connect 10G SFP+ (electrical signals) to TMUXHS4212.

Whether it will support? What should be impedance requirement to be followed for 10G SFP+ Electrical signals differential / single ended?

Is it 100 Ohm / 85 ohm for differential signals? is it 50 ohm or 42.5 ohm for single ended signals?

sorry, I'm not familar with SFP+, what is max differential swing and common mode voltage? and what is the target impedance?

Hi Brian Zhou,

The differntial swing : 300mV to 700mV.

I) Target impedance in PCB, I am not able to find, please provide if u know.

II) For 10G SFP signals, is it mandatory to connect 1.8V Pull-up for bias? or 1.8V Pull up to be provided for only single-ended signals.

so common mode voltage is 500mv, which is <2v. so no bias is needed.

impedance is depends on SFP spec,
