ISOW7844: RoHS compliance certificate

Part Number: ISOW7844

Dear team

I require a RoHS compliance certificate for part # ISOW7844DWE including confirmation of any exemptions that apply.

I have logged a support case (ref CS0520110) and have been sent component level test certificates which do not provide the information that I need.

    Thanks for the reply.

    Unfortunately the generic RoHS statement advised that some parts may be compliant by exemption.

    I need to know if any of these exemptions apply to part # ISOW7844DWE as we have to record this in our system and pass onto the customers.

    The test reports do not specifically cite the relevant exemptions that apply to the part and as a manufacturer you are responsible for identifying and reporting this.

    As initially requested I need a certificate specific to this part or series stating its compliance with RoHS legislation and any exemptions that you are using.

    Hi Andy,

    Thanks for clarifying further on your request.
    I understand that the certificate provide encompasses all TI devices and is not specific to ISOW7844 or ISOW78xx family alone.

    Please note that the part ISOW7844DWE is RoHS compliant without any exemptions as indicated by the term "RoHS" (as against "RoHS Exempt") in packaging information section of datasheet under the column "Eco Plan" (see image below). Since this is explicitly specified in datasheet, I am hoping this is sufficient information to convey to your customer regarding TI device compliance to RoHS.

    As a courtesy, we do provide a detailed test report indicating chemical composition of various materials (10 in number) used in device. This test report also indicates that none of the 10 RoHS substances exceed limits set by RoHS Directive (EU) 2015/863 amending Annex II to Directive 2011/65/EU.
