Hi Expert,

Thanks a lot for your warm help.

My customer is using ISO6741- Q1 in their project.

  • Here is a question raised by OEM, if the working voltage of ISO7641 of reinforced could meet the 1000Vrms requirement?

Attached is the document they download from ti.com. The working voltage of reinforced insulation is 800Vrms, which

is different from datasheet. 

 

From my perspective, the ISO7741-q1 with DWW package and the creepage is larger than 14mm, which will meet the requirement of OEM.

If we can meet the 1000Vrms requirement, would you mind helping to change the document to eliminate the understanding?

    Hi Imelda,

    Thanks for posting your question on E2E forum.

    Please note that the 800 Vrms maximum working voltage specification of ISO6741-Q1 is according to DIN EN IEC 62368-1 standard. Does your customer need to comply with this standard? If yes, then I agree with you that the customer should consider ISO7741-Q1 with DWW package as it can meet >1000 Vrms reinforced working voltage according to this standard.
