ISO3082: Change point from Revision I to J

Part Number: ISO3082
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: ISO3086, ISO3080

Hi all,

I would like to know change point of the device from Revision I to Revision J.

It says that the temperature, electrical, and switching characteristics have changed.

How many did the value change from before to after the change?

If you have a comparison table, please let me know.

Best Regards,

Ryusuke

  • Hi Ryusuke,

Thanks for reaching out. We are currently looking into this, and will get back to you within the next 24 hours.

  • Hi Ryusuke-san,

Here is revision I of the ISO3082 datasheet:

    ISO308x_Revision_I.pdf

You can use this previous revision of the datasheet to see which exact specifications were changed from revision I to revision J.

    Regards,

    Kenneth

  • Hi Ryusuke-san

I went through each of the electrical, temperature, and switching specifications for each of the datasheets and found the following changes:

-The absolute maximum rating specification for the voltage input at any D, DE or RE terminal changed from 7 V to 6 V

-The junction-to-ambient thermal resistance specification was changed to have a single specification of 79.6 C°/W

-The VDE section of the safety-related certifications table was changed to reflect the latest standard

-The differential input capacitance of the receiver was changed from 7 pF to 16 pF

-The input capacitance to ground specification of the receiver was changed from 2 pF to 8 pF

-The specification for the maximum pulse width distortion of the ISO3086/88 driver was changed from 7.5 ns to 9 ns

-An additional specification for the pulse width distortion of the ISO3080/82 receiver was added

-A differential output rise and fall time specification for the receiver was added

If you have any further questions about changes to any of the other electrical, temperature, and switching specifications, please let me know.

    Regards,

    Kenneth

  • Hi Kenneth,

    Thank you for your help.
