hi expert

i cannot find Output switch voltage Recommended Operating value in datasheet. only Abs.

Q1:what about SN6505 Output switch voltage Recommended Operating value?

    Hi Jay,

    Thank you for reaching out.

    The only input design parameter for SN6505B is the input voltage at VCC which has an absolute max value of 6V and recommended range of 2.25V to 5.5V. There won't be any separate need that the user needs to provide and hence, no other recommended voltage is provide.

    The user will not be able to apply a separate voltage to D1/D2, due to this, there is a no recommended spec for D1/D2. The voltage that appears across D1 = D2 = 2*VCC. To support this, D1 and D2 need to be 11V (=2*5.5V) but with margin, these are rated for 16V.

    The reason why i ask this question is that designer can find Output switch voltage parameter in SN6501 datasheet, but cannot find in SN6505 datasheet.

    Now i understood.
