Dear All,
I am looking for a isolated CAN transceiver for my application which provides a indication of CAN bus activity. This indication to be used to wake up the system from sleep state. I went through many isolated CAN transceiver but there is no specific information or parts available on how the CAN transceiver wake up on the bus activity and intern wakes up the system ( lets say a PMIC with CANWU input wakes up the entire system)
One solution which I am familiar with is to use CAN transceiver with INH pin with digital isolator to isolate TX and RX pins.
Need suggestion on this regards if there could be a better and cheaper solution available with TI
Looking forward to hear from you soon. Wishing everyone happy Christmas and New Year 2021.
Regards,
Anand M.
Hi Anand:
Thanks for posting your question on E2E.
Unfortunately, TI doesn't have a single chip solution for isolated CAN transceiver with CAN bus WAKE functionality. For a cost efficient two chip solution, you may consider our latest general purpose isolator family, ISO6741, with TCAN1043 or TCAN1144.
Wishing you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Yeay!
