Are there any non-obvious issues when nesting the TSX02324 to build a 4:1 mux? Or should we build it out of discrete muxes instead?

Hey Aaron,
I'm not quite sure what you are meaning by this, do you have a drawing to show what you are trying to implement? Its important to note this isn't just a simple MUX and the auto direction sensing architecture could likely cause issues with what you are trying to implement.
Yes, the auto sensing part is the thing that is concerning me. The idea is to build a selection tree, so in the case of a 4:1 mux, you would have 3 TSX02324. The first layer would switch between the other two switches, with each having two SIM cards hung off them.
If this won't work, does TI have a recommended solution for multiplexing more than two SIM cards?
Do you actually want auto sensing or level translating? If not, just use a plain mux.
