Dear experts,

Our partner is trying to approve the SN74AUP1G08DCKR for a new project at approval stage

They brought small qty from Arrow and Digikey. They observed that the 2 parts have different die although they were with the same COO and similar DC

There's no PCN in available on TI.com. Arrow's part are reported to come with Revision C and we are waiting for Digikey to revert on their parts' revison.

Questions:

1. Please share a PCN

2. Are these 2 dies used concurrently? Would one of them be phased out?

3. Are there any significant differences in terms of performance n specs? Can a TI customer request for a certain revision?

As shown in the "Assembly site" dropdown on www.ti.com/quality-reliability-packaging-download/report?opn=SN74AUP1G08DCKR, this device is manufactured at two sites. And different sites indeed can use different dies or packaging.

A PCN is issued only if there is some change. But as long as these two sites continue to do their own thing, there is no change.

All devices conform to the datasheet specifications.

If you want traceability to a single wafer fab, assembly site, and material set, you have to pay for that with a Q100 or EP product, e.g., SN74AUP1G08-Q1.

Is there no standardisation in the die marking between different sites?

Please assist to confirm that the TI2003 is a marking that will be used for Rev C Die.

Die markings are not something we will provide.

Are you having an issue with the electrical specifications or operation of the device as defined in the device datasheet?

Hello Emrys,

Our partner is not at the stage of the electrical testing yet. The preliminary IQC process seeks to ensure that a correct part is being received before the next stage of electrical testing is being performed. Unfortunately, we have received wrong parts from Mouser, Digikey, Element14 and Arrow Online of late. When die markings r different, we do check with TI for clarification.

Your assistance to validate the die would be appreciated.
