SN74HCS02-Q1: Leakage current value at -40°C & +125°C

Part Number: SN74HCS02-Q1

Hello Team,

The maximum input leakage current of the SN74HCS02QPWRQ1 is mentioned as ±1000nA  at Tamb=25°C. Whether this value is same at -40°C and at +125°C.

Because I am comparing this IC with SN74HC02QPWRQ1 for which, input leakage current is mentioned as ±1000nA at Tamb =125°C. But at Tamb= 25°C, same is only ±100nA (Max).

So only if I know the Input leakage current of first part at Tamb = 125°C, I can compare it with that of second part.

Thanks in advance.

  • Hello,

The HCS family of logic is much newer and will have reduced leakage compared to older devices like the HC02.  The typical value is 7nA, across temperature, however our test equipment cannot quickly verify this, so the datasheet lists a much larger value.
